Lucy Caldwell is Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President at Crowdskout, an audience engagement platform for political campaigns, advocacy efforts and nonprofits. There she oversees all customer-facing operations and strategy, as well as various companywide growth initiatives. A veteran of the campaigns and advocacy industry herself, Lucy has run advocacy campaigns in over thirty states and on the national level. She frequently speaks and writes on the collision of technology and issue-moving and what this disruption means for today's advocacy landscape and has provided commentary on every major cable network.

Steve Frederick joined Grotech Ventures in 2005. Steve focuses on investment opportunities in software and services with a particular interest in security, mobility and big data. Steve currently serves or has served on the boards of Grotech portfolio companies CircleBack, Ryft, Invincea, Logi Analytics, Omnilink (acquired by Numerex), Parse.ly, promoboxx, RollStream (acquired by GXS/OpenText), SocialRadar, ThreatConnect, Urjanet and White Ops.

Steve’s career spans engineering roles, entrepreneurial company building and early-stage investing. Prior to joining Grotech, he was a general partner with Novak Biddle Venture Partners, investing in early-stage software and communications equipment companies. Steve made significant contributions to the success of numerous companies, including Centice, Matrics (acquired by Symbol), Luna Technologies (acquired by Luna Innovations), Zagros Networks, Optinel Systems (acquired by CCOR), XtremeSpectrum (acquired by Motorola), Princeton Optronics, Woodwind Communications (acquired by Vina), Object Video, AnswerLogic (acquired by Primus), Paratek and Blackboard (Nasdaq: BBBB). Steve began his career in research and development with IBM and then joined a venture-funded software company in the document imaging space called Vantage Solutions, which was acquired in 1994.

Steve subsequently co-founded software development firm MartinScott before making his transition to the venture business in 1997. He has served in interim-operating roles with several portfolio companies upon request. In collaboration with the National Venture Capital Association, Steve co-founded the StartUpHire initiative, an innovative online job board listing thousands of opportunities at venture-backed companies.

Ashley Larson joins Revolution Growth as a Vice President. Ashley brings over 10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, and operations to Revolution Growth. With more than 25 years of software development and tech education experience, Aaron Saunders is an award-winning tech entrepreneur and author, who has founded and successfully built multiple startups. His companies include Clearly Innovative (a mobile app agency), Luma Lab (a tech and entrepreneurship education program), In3 (the nation’s first “Inclusive Innovation Incubator”), KissIntel (a dating relationship management and romance enhancement mobile app).

Aaron is the CEO and Founder of IN3, which recently opened via a partnership with DC Government and Howard University.

Aaron launched Clearly Innovative in 2009; Clearly Innovative’s work includes  building mobile apps for the National Museum of African American History and Culture  and the National Military Family Association and the launch of an innovative Google tablets program for the Queens Library System that won a “Broadband Champion Award.” As the founder of Luma Lab, Aaron has won several prominent grants, including the Mission Main Street Grant from Chase Bank and TDF Foundation grants, to continue his work of training and supporting hundreds of youth and entrepreneurs in their
endeavors. As author of “Building Cross-Platform Apps using Titanium, Alloy,  and Appcelerator Cloud Services,” Aaron provides readers a detailed guide to quickly developing the skills to build real, native apps and get them to market faster.

Aaron serves as an adjunct professor at Howard University, and organizer for DC Tech Meetup,. He has received numerous awards acknowledging  his community work and commitment to inclusive innovation, including but not limited to, being named a “2017 Tech Titan” by Washingtonian Magazine, Black Data Processing Associates’ “2016 Entrepreneur of the Year,” “2016 Champion of Digital Equality Award” by the Multicultural Media, Telecom and Internet Council, and Washington Business Journal’s “Power 100 of 2016.”
